Real Milk is RAWsome

Menu:

There is a growing movement within the “Raw Milk” movement to sacrifice your guaranteed liberties for what is being claimed as “safety”. These people that claim to be awake and know the agenda need to take another “Red Pill”. Many good people are starting to fall for this scheme that will only ensure control of both the food and the people for, all be it that they are doing so with good intentions, but are blindly leading the proverbial sheep to the slaughter in the name of safety. Because they are too blind too see the entire picture, they have began to divide the “cause”. Divide and conquer.

The United States of America is not a Democracy, this may surprise some of you, but remember the Pledge of Allegiance here.....”and to the Republic for which it stands”. Yes, we are a Republic like it or not. A Democracy is mob rule plain and simple, 51% can control 49% with no checks or balances. Our founders of this nation wanted something that would be fair and hence a Republic was born. A Republic protects all its citizens not just those that rule. For example the Revolutionary War against England was fought by 3% of the people, financially supported by 10%, and vocally supported by 20%. If your math is the same as mine that only gives us 33% of the people involved in forming this great bastion of freedom and liberty, the United States of America.

What about the other 67%? Makes you wonder doesn't it? In a Democracy we would still be under the control of the British Crown to this day. God Bless our founders for having the foresight to establish a Republic and protect everyone's rights even the 3% that sacrificed all so that we may have what their ancestors did not, were their effort's in vain? When you have Democracy you have tyranny of the masses.

In a Republic you have private property rights and you can do as you see fit with that property, if that property is food, then you can consume it as your right. Those who falsely believe that we live in a Democracy are leading us down a very dangerous and narrow path, they are trying to tell you what you can do with your private property.

No one should be pushed around and this is what is happening now that there is an outcry for safety and a to hell with liberty attitude growing among the self proclaimed elite of the raw milk movement.

Are they wolves in sheep's clothing? Perhaps, only time will tell.

Greed and control seem to be the personal agenda being shrouded by the illusion of safety. No matter how good men are “power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely”.

We have been led to believe that an out of control government can guide our future with the passage, and growing acceptance of, the “Food Safety Bill S510”. Do we now surrender our rights and march to the beat of a different drummer in this nation because we will ensure safety? Do we listen to those that continually tell us to OBEY? The masters always demand that the slaves obey and if you do not obey they threaten you with punishment or banishment.

Will those that become subject to these self imposed regulations be given any say as to how they will be policed. Do we blindly trust their integrity? Do they control the media and control the fate of their competition with innuendo's and threats? What they are doing, perhaps unwittingly is working to eliminate competition and gain a greater control of the market, perhaps even a monopoly. They will play on peoples emotion and claim that I can do things better and safer than what God had originally designed intelligently. Their competitors will be forced out of business with the aid of over-regulation.

Eventually this could very well lead to only having government approved food sources.

Henry Kissinger once said “that he who control's the food control's the people”, think about that for a minute. By surrendering the choice of your food to only “approved” sources you are treading dangerous waters. Now Mr. Kissinger was not very original in his statement either because it was Adolph Hitler that first used that phrase originally. Still want more control?

Being narrow minded and claiming that we need safety with no regard for liberty makes you actually part of the problem and not the solution. By surrendering your rights you have already played into the hands of the global elitist's agenda of controlling the food and ensuring a monopoly eventually. It may well destroy the small family farms of which you claim to be trying to save from demise. Now you may want to call names here and say that this is a conspiracy, well I now challenge you to prove me wrong with facts and not just rant that liberty loving people are “nutcases”.

Was food intended to be grown and consumed in sterile conditions? I do not think so, safety has been a tool of control and is now being used in the future to control the “Raw Milk” movement of these United States of America.

Let me close with one final thought from one of our founding fathers “They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.” Benjamin Franklin.

David,
I am disappointed in the title of your article, Maybe It's Time to Let Go of Conspiracy Theories, and Focus on Avoiding Raw Milk Problems That Give Authorities Ammo, what you call conspiracy theories in the beginning of your article are really exaggerated fantasies.
For starters, I might arrange for Mark McAfee to become head of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Then, I might work on getting Michelle Obama to push her husband to veto the new Food Safety Modernization Act. For kickers I might influence the judge in charge of the federal suit by the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund to invalidate the ban on interstate shipments of raw milk.   Get real.
It was Henry Kissinger that spoke of controlling the food to control the people, fact, not a theory. The problem we face is two fold. First we have a government that is hell bent on over regulating our lives, and an ever encroaching world government that will control the food supply of the world. Conspiracies? Not! The facts are out there in the open for anyone to see.
The second problem we face are those farmers that want to make a quick buck by getting on the raw milk bandwagon. These are the farmers that produce milk intended for the pasteurizer and get a good "side income" from selling to the public, for human consumption, milk that was originally intended to be burnt beyond recognition. Plain greed on their parts, and when an outbreak happens they just played into the regulating agencies hand.
The majority of raw milk farms are clean, sincere operations. Education is needed for those farmers as to how to produce a healthy alternative to factory farmed food and most importantly why they must be very careful in what they produce. Agents await an outbreak so that they can react and reign in more control.
But all raids in Wisconsin here have not been about dirty food either. The Hershberger raids have been all about government control, not one person fell ill or complained to DATCP about them, so now we enter the conspiracy world.    Sincere raw milk farmers will produce good healthy food. They will take the extra steps necessary to ensure a safe and healthy product.
Caveat emptor, let the buyer beware.   Consumers need to know all they can about the source of their food, and that those government agencies that act in the name of food safety are to be held accountable for their actions when they overstep their bounds on assumptions and not facts.
There is a war on for our food plain and simple. Dirty processes will give them the power they desire.   Agenda 21 is real, S510 is real, kangaroo courts are real, and illness happens.   The war on raw milk has increased over the last few years, not because 30 people got sick (which is the ammo government desires) but because we have been incrementally moving towards a world order.
Standards for raw milk are becoming necessary, as the raw milk industry grows, and should be a professional organization of producers (similar to organizations for architects and engineers, etc.). To keep raw milk healthy and clean has to do with each individual producers integrity.
I had wanted to submit my thoughts for the court of public opinion but my account has not yet been approved to comment on your blog and hence this personal note to you.
Respectfully,
Andrew Mastrocola

We have witnessed "The War on Drugs"  and "The War on Terror" for too many years as a vehicle for federal tyranny and a simple excuse to take away our States Rights, Constituional rights and personal liberties. Now we have reached the pinnacle. The coming "War on Food" will only create more felons,  prisoners, and law enforcement jobs. We can expect an increase in food raids against the private buyers clubs, farmers markets, and eventually your garden. You will be criminalized for growing your own nutritionally dense organic foods, even possession of a slice of raw cheese may be enough to get you time in their ever growing prison system.
The raid of Rawsome Foods this past year (2010) was a test for the new "War on Food". Jackbooted thugs coming into a private food distribution center with guns drawn! Yes, that is what we can expect to see over the coming years as the FDA and the USDA become militarized. There are already plans on the table for the federal agencies to recruit help on the state level from agencies, such as DATCP here in Wisconsin, to enforce this draconian "Food Safety" legislation. When we wake up in 2011 farmers will be relegated to the level of drug dealers and those who choose to consume those homegrown foods as junkies. Your neighbor may even get a reward if they call the FDA hot line  and report that you have too many tomato plants in your garden. Are you prepared for when the FDA comes crashing through your garden fence in the name of "Food Safety"?
There is a war on for your food. Will you stand up to this tyranny, or live in fear and be a good slave?
The tyranny we are about to face in this country will make the oppressive days of the Soviet Union look all too mild.

Wake up America, it is almost too late to save this once great agricultural nation, unless each and every one of you resist this tyranny to your fullest ability. Being able to eat foods in their raw and natural state is a fundamental right given to us by  the Creator, not a priveledge granted to us by politicians bought and paid for by Monsanto.
Our everday lives are about to change once S 510 becomes law. The FDA wants dead food and S510 will see to that. Dead food equals unhealthy people, unhealthy people die sooner than normal, suffering with diseases brought about by deficient nutrion, with food approved for your safety by the FDA.
The once "fast food nation" has become a "fascist food nation". America is no longer a beacon of hope, it is now a police state, and the tyranny of  food fascism will continue to reign over real food producers. Consumers of fresh unprocessed foods must come forward en masse if we want access to healthy food for future generations. Will we live as slaves and eat GMO's, MSG, ultra-pasteurized foods.........or will we stand up and claim our rights and once again become the freemen that once ruled this great republic?

There were over 80 deaths on that infamous day in Waco Texas when the Federal government went on a wild murderous spree.  How often in America are honest, peaceful, men women and children attacked by an out of control despotic government?
Well it is almost becoming a weekly event in our "FREE" nation. It seems as if these jackboot agents enjoy destroying peoples lives.
Now the FDA is at war with milk and cheese.
Eric Holder is the Attorney General of the Obama administration that is supporting the governments latest raids. Why should we be concerned?
AG Holder has a track record:
In August 1992, you will remember that a federal law enforcement agent and expert sniper shot and murdered Vicki Weaver the wife of Randy Weaver, at their home in Idaho.  The federal agents also shot their young son Sam in the back and killed him as he was running away from them.  The incident began, as a jury concluded, when the ATF entrapped Randy Weaver into committing a gun violation.

After an initial investigation uncovered evidence of a coverup and other potential crimes by the federal agents following the incident at "Ruby Ridge" the matter was referred to the U.S. Attorney in D.C., Eric Holder, for further proceedings.

Then in 1993 his superior Janet Reno presided over, and was ultimately cleared, in what many Americans still to this day see as a high water mark of the governments power to overrun its own people, the invasion, burning and murder of innocent women and children at the home of Branch Davidians in Waco Texas.

Holder was deputy attorney general under Reno and declared that he was pleased that his department had been cleared of any wrongdoing in the matter, despite what Americans clearly saw on their own TV sets, and said, "David Koresh and certain Branch Davidians were responsible for the tragedy at Waco."

And then, late in the final days of the Bill Clinton presidency, Eric Holder played a central role in the presidential pardon of convicted felon Marc Rich.

The raid this summer in California where agents came with gun's drawn is what troubles me. Will raw food groups become the next WACO? Only time will tell. But be prepared for an escalation of government raids across the nation as long as this administration remains in power.

Unfortunately, July 4th has become a day of deceit.

On July 4, 1776, the Continental Congress formally declared its independence from Great Britain. Thirteen years later, after a difficult war to secure that independence, the new country was open for business.

It was truly unique — the first nation in all of history in which the individual was considered more important than the government, and the government was tied down by a written Constitution.

It was the one nation where you could live your life secure in the knowledge that no one would ask for your papers, where you weren’t identified by a number, and where the government wouldn’t extort a percentage of your income as the price of holding a job.

And so each year July 4th has been a commemoration of the freest country in history.

False Celebration

But the America that’s celebrated no longer exists.

The holiday oratory deceitfully describes America as though it were the unique land of liberty that once was. Politicians thank the Almighty for conferring the blessings of liberty on a country that no longer enjoys those blessings. The original freedom and security have disappeared — even though the oratory lingers on.

What made America unique is now gone, and we are much the same as Germany, France, England, or Spain, with:

  • confiscatory taxes,
  • a Constitution and Bill of Rights that are symbolic only — merely documents used to justify governmental actions that are in fact prohibited by those documents,
  • business regulated by the state in the most minute detail,
  • no limits on what Congress or the President might decide to do.
Yes, there are some freedoms left, but nothing like the America that was — and nothing that you can’t find in a few dozen other countries.

The Empire

Gone, too, is the sense of peace and security that once reigned throughout the land. America — bound by two huge oceans and two friendly neighbors — was subject to none of the never-ending wars and destruction that plagued Europe and Asia.

Now, however, everyone’s business is America’s business. Our Presidents consider themselves the rulers of the world — deciding who may govern any country on earth and sending Americans to die enforcing those decisions.

Whereas America was once an inspiration to the entire world — its very existence was proof that peace and liberty really were possible — Americans now live in fear of the rest of the world and the rest of the world lives in fear of America.

The Future

Because the education of our children was turned over to government in the 19th century, generations of Americans have been taught that freedom means taxes, regulations, civic duty, and responsibility for the whole world. They have no conception of the better life that could exist in a society in which government doesn’t manage health care, education, welfare, and business — and in which individuals are free to plot their own destinies.

Human beings are born with the desire to make their own decisions and control their own lives. But in most countries government and social pressures work to teach people to expect very little autonomy.

Fortunately, in America a remnant has kept alive the ideas of liberty, peace, and self-respect — passing the concepts on from generation to generation. And so today millions of Americans know that the present system isn’t the right system — that human beings aren’t born to serve the state and police the world.

Millions more would be receptive upon being shown that it’s possible to have better lives than what they’re living now.

Get the New Book Today!

Both groups need encouragement to quit supporting those who are taking freedom away from them.

You and I may not have the money and influence to change America by ourselves, but we can keep spreading the word — describing a better society in which individuals are truly free and government is in chains (instead of the opposite).

And someday we may reach the people who do have the money and influence to persuade tens of millions of Americans to change our country for the better.

I don’t know that it’s going to happen, but I do know it’s possible. I know that the urge to live one’s own life is as basic in human beings as the will to live and the desire to procreate. If we keep plugging away, we may eventually tap into that urge and rally the forces necessary to restore the real America.

And then the 4th of July will be worth celebrating again.

The breaking news today is that Steven Ingham has resigned effective July 7, 2010.
Now if only Jackie Owens, Kathy Anderson, Cheryl Daniels, Lee Sensenbrenner, Tom Lietzke, and Rod Nielsustun would follow suit.......tyranny over family farms will not be tolerated any more. The liberty to choose what we food eat and what food we produce is an inherent God given right. Wisconsin's industrial food industry currently is a Fascist regime that will not allow the "buy local" movement to grow into a strong market which would allow for a good living wage for the farmer and save Wisconsin's family farm's. The dairy industry has been running DATCP and financing the "crackdown" on Wisconsin's family farms that produce fresh, unprocessed milk. Wholesome, clean, and healthy products are not tolerated by these Fascist's. "He who control's the food control's the people" Adolph Hitler, has seemed to be DATCP's motto during Steve Ingham's tenure. Whomever is appointed as his replacement take heed, we the people will always be there willing to claim our rights.

A debate is brewing in dairy land about the term raw versus using the term fresh. The term raw makes the average person want to cook that food and destroy the nutritional value, all with good intention. Where as the term fresh makes one think of fruit picked from the vine and consumed unprocessed. While I like and prefer the use of the term "Fresh Milk" over "Raw Milk", raw has become a household term in Wisconsin during the last nine months.
The pro sterilized food guru's in Wisconsin, Steve Ingham in particular, have relentlessly tried to imply that raw is bad, dangerous, evil and so on. On the other hand there are literally thousands of people that have reaped the health benefits of raw dairy and raw foods and share their stories on a daily basis with friends and neighbors.
Now that "Raw" is in, thanks to the media's constant use of the term, perhaps we should define an acronym for R.A.W.
Rich And Wholesome.
Any other suggestions for acronyms for R.A.W. are welcome, just use the submission form on the contact page. Let us put our thoughts together and see what we can come up with collectively.
By the way June is National Dairy month and they started with a raid on Vernon Herschberger's farm in Loganville. So maybe they should change the title for June to Seek and Destroy a Real Dairy month.

Today DATCP has raided the farm of Vernon Herschberger. Steve Ingham also paid a visit to another farm in Bloomer in northwestern Wisconsin. Now that DATCP is the "ultimate authority on food", courtesy of Jim Doyle, they have apparently gone on a big bully rampage today.
For now keep Vernon and his family in your prayers, I'm sure their lives were turned upside down today.
Sivi pacem parrabellum.
